The commemorative, life-size bronze sculpture of Roger Ebert will be positioned in front of the Virginia Theatre, the long-time home to the popular Ebertfest celebration in Champaign, IL. Theatre-goers and Ebert fans will be reminded of Roger's "thumbs up" gesture as his stamp of approval of movies he reviewed. The intent is to have the sculpture ready to be unveiled and dedicated at the 2014 Ebertfest. With Roger's recent passing, it has the opportunity to be the emotional high point of the festival.
